Your vote is SECRET
The LAW protects the secrecy of your ballot:
- You must mark your ballot behind a screen
- You must fold your ballot so that your mark is not exposed
- If you expose your mark, your ballot will be declared spoilt
- No one should ask you to expose your ballot, as this is a criminal offence
- No one should ask you to take a photo of your ballot. This is also a criminal offence
- Your ballot cannot be traced back to you once the counterfoil has been removed
